Dear PS 38 Parents, Guardians and Families,

I enthusiastically welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year at PS 38 Roberto Clemente Learning Center. Although I have been the Principal of PS 38 for almost 11 years, I am thrilled about starting a new school year. Educating scholars is a passion of mine, and I am incredibly blessed to work in a field I genuinely enjoy. I appreciate all you do at home to help your child(ren) be the best they can be in life and at school.

The beginning of the school year is always exciting because everything is NEW- new classes, faces, and expectations. We are excited to have our scholars back in our school building, filling our classrooms and hallways with energy and enthusiasm for learning. Our school's mission is to ensure that our scholars strive for success in a safe, nurturing environment. We aim to make them experience success and feel welcomed every day.

Here at PS 38, we have a unique and dedicated group of staff members and teachers who spend countless hours planning and creating lessons that engage our students in learning and preparing them for success. Parental involvement is another essential contributor to children's success at PS 38. Your participation in school events and support throughout the school year strengthen our community and support improved academic achievement for scholars. I invite you to be involved, schedule to visit classrooms, keep open communication with teachers, and attend parent activities. This is where the magic happens, and it begins with you!
