HMH-Into Reading

Its an evidence-based Science of Reading curriculum that supports our K-5 scholars with programs (in Reading, Vocabulary and Writing) that provide systematic, explicit literacy instruction.

Wilson Fundations is a structured literacy program that teaches reading, spelling and handwriting to scholars in grades K-3. It’s on the Science of Reading and designed to help scholars develop foundational skills.

Heggerty is our curriculum for helping students to develop phonemic awareness and literacy skills. Scholars learn the sounds of the English language, with the goal of transferring those skills to reading and writing.

Heggerty lessons are designed to be systematic, starting with simple concepts and gradually moving to more complex ones. Scholars isolate, blend, segment, and manipulate sounds in words, with teachers providing modeling and scaffolding.
