Dear Families,
Welcome to our school. It is my pleasure to ensure our children receive the best early childhood education. We are so excited to have your child join us and be a part of our learning community.
Our program is dedicated to providing a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. We believe that the early years are a critical time for growth and learning, and we are committed to supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development.
At P.S. 38 we foster a love of learning through hands-on activities, creative play, and exploration. We place a strong emphasis on developing essential skills in areas such as language, literacy, mathematics, science, and the arts. Our experienced and dedicated teachers work closely with each child to ensure they are challenged, supported, and given the individualized attention they need to thrive.
In addition to our focus on academics, we also place great importance on social-emotional learning. We help children develop important life skills like communication, conflict resolution, empathy, and self-regulation. By nurturing these abilities, we aim to create a positive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
We believe that family involvement is key to a child's success, and we encourage you to be active participants in your child's education. We have many opportunities for you to engage with the program, such as class trips, family events, and regular communication with teacher.
